The annual fundraiser and craft sale, TOQUE, returns for the Western Front’s 40th Anniversary with an exciting showcase of artists, designers and artisans. Many Emily Carr University faculty and alumni are represented at this year’s event, including Jen Weih, Fieldwork, Gailan Ngan, Lisa Cinar of Draw Me a Lion, and Zoe Garred of Fleet Objects.

Held in the newly renovated Luxe Hall on Friday, December 6 (from 6 – 10pm) and Saturday (from 11am – 7pm), December 7, TOQUE is a longstanding Western Front tradition, initiated by Western Front founding members and friends almost 40 years ago. Expect to find goods ranging from publications, textiles and ceramics to jewellery and tasty treats with prices ranging from $5 to $500. Plus, Vancouver-based artist Arvo Leo is designing this year’s limited-edition tea towels.
